看成中国历史上最热切的城市之一，杭州有着丰富的文化底蕴和历史传统。

然则，杭州之又名“武林”，并非源于江湖武侠。

据验证，武林之名最早出自《汉书》，与其境内武林山连络。

南宋周至著有《武林往事》，追忆南宋齐城临安城市风貌，胪陈朝廷仪式﹑山川习气﹑四时节物等情况。

如今，“武林”还是杭城的热切地名，如武林路、武林广场、武林门等。

如若说西湖是杭州的灵魂，那么武林广场可谓是杭州的精神火把。

西湖精辟清秀，灵隐寺、雷峰塔等历史名迹承载着悠久的文化传统，蛊惑了无数文东谈主文士安身游览，留住一笔边幅。

1998年，杭州与法国南部驰名旅游胜地尼斯（Nice）结为姐妹友好城市，开启了一段新的和洽与交流之旅。

尼斯，位于阳光明媚的法国里维埃拉海岸，以其蔚蓝的海水和地中海征象展现出优雅。尼斯以其丰富的艺术遗产蛊惑着来自全国各地的搭客。

Nice exudes elegance and charm with its azure waters and Mediterranean climate. As a bustling hub of culture and commerce, the city captivates visitors with its vibrant markets, stunning architecture, and rich artistic heritage.

尼斯蔚蓝海岸大齐会旅游局副主席鲁迪·萨尔（Rudy Salles）评价说：“中国东谈主说杭州是东谈主间天国。而尼斯，有天神海湾。东谈主间天国和天神海湾，他们没原理不结缘。”

Rudy Salles, deputy chairman of the Nice Cote d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office, said: “Chinese people say Hangzhou is a paradise on Earth. And here (in Nice), we have the Angels Bay. The Angels Bay and the paradise, of course, they had to be married.”

鸶鹭商务航空创举东谈主和董事长杜柏瑞暗示：“对我来说，杭州这个场合，有故事、有当然、有营业、多情面，它们齐是我生意中的热切部分。”

Franck Dubarry, founder and chairman of Silkwings Jet, said: “For me, Hangzhou is the place with the story, the nature, the business, the people, where they represent my business.”

成长在尼斯、但当今假寓杭州的百万粉丝up主“爱喝茶的老路”暗示，“尼斯在法国的地位有像杭州在国内的地位。杭州市有好多年青东谈主，有好多大学，有超过好的企业。尼斯地区，我不单是说尼斯这个城市，扫数尼斯地区是法国第二个最热切的经济和文化地区，仅次于巴黎。”

Olivier Ruelle, a vlogger in Hangzhou with more than 1 million followers, said: “Nice holds a position somewhat akin to that of Hangzhou in China. The Nice Metropolitan region stands as the second-most vital economic and cultural hub in France, trailing only Paris.”

结盟二十多年来，杭州和尼斯两座城市在文化艺术等诸多方面保执着密切的交游。

2018年，恰逢杭州和尼斯坚毅友好城市二十周年，两城举办了杭州·尼斯“双城记”照相展。杭州与尼斯在各自的城市中心举办以此定名的照相展。两国照相青睐者捕捉双城好意思好已而，把作品带到姐妹城市，展现互相的魔力。

早在2015年，为期五天的“尼斯·杭州电影周”开幕式在法国尼斯凤凰公园浩荡举行。这亦然杭州初次在境外举办电影周。通过电影这种通用的艺术谈话，向法国不雅众展示中国电影艺术中的杭州元素，以及杭州比年来赶快发展的文创及影视产业。半年前，杭州举办了法国电影周。

The sister cities have been involved in many cultural events, such as the Hangzhou-Nice Twin Cities Photography Exhibition and the Nice-Hangzhou Film Week.

回忆起杭州歌剧舞剧院出品的跳舞戏院《碰见大运河》2017年在尼斯开启人人首演，总导演崔巍说：“尼斯是超过妩媚的城市，咱们在尼斯作念了好多快闪活动。咱们但愿不单是是在戏院走进戏院的东谈主，咱们但愿走出去的每一篇齐大概把中国文化尽我方最大的可能去传播的更广，让更多的东谈主了解。”

Cui Wei, director of To Meet the Grand Canal, a Chinese dance drama show, said: “We performed at the centuries-old Nice Opera House. The exhibition “The Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles: Exchanges Between China and France in the 17th and 18th Centuries” opened at the Palace Museum in Beijing on April 1, showcasing about 200 cultural relics. It will run until the end of June.
